I grew up in a large, vibrant Armenian family. A granddaughter of immigrants who fled genocide in 1915 to begin anew in America. My poetry explores the diaspora experience and its effects on my life and those I hold close. Celebrating our traditions, food and culture have been essential to preserving identity and all my grandparents left behind.

These published poems are part of my first full-length collection and chapbook. Fingers crossed they each find a small press to call home.
