I spent my career conveying messages with as few words as possible. In advertising, less is more. I hadn’t realized this ability to create imagery in lyrical ways would prepare me to be a poet.
Since graduating from Bucknell University, the written word has been my steady companion. I began writing poetry during the pandemic, with more time my attention turned inward. For the past four years, I’ve looked back at my life and family while also trying to live and create in the moment.
I was published for the first time in May 2025 with twelve poems accepted since then. All are part of my first full-length manuscript and chapbook.
I would not be the poet I am without the guidance of my mentors. You all know who you are.
